Nakamori-san’s JOB is Tamer – Part 2

Come to think of it, I remembered I had given Nakamori-san two eggs.

“Nakamori-san, what happened to the other egg?” I asked.

She said, “Snow.”

Then, from the kitchen, a pure white puppy came running.

“This is Snow. She hatched from the other egg you gave me, Shiraishi-kun.”

Nakamori-san showed me the puppy.

“They hatch this quickly?”

I asked, and Nakamori-san nodded.

“I was surprised too!”

Snow seemed friendly and wasn’t shy around people, so she let me pet her.

Both of them felt so fluffy and amazing to touch.

While I was enjoying petting them, Kenta came down from the room upstairs.

Looking at the two, he asked, “Did you buy pets?”

Nakamori-san explained she had gotten the Tamer JOB.

She told him she had received the magic beast eggs from me.

That the eggs hatched, and she named and contracted with the beasts.

“Aren’t they adorable? The rabbit is Shiratama, and the puppy is Snow.”

Nakamori-san proudly showed them off to Kenta.

Kenta told us that the Explorer’s Association requires registering beast contracts officially, and if you don’t, other explorers could accidentally kill your beasts, and you wouldn’t have any grounds for complaint.

“That’s awful!”

So Nakamori-san decided to register as an explorer.

Kenta said he had just woken up and was about to have breakfast.

I said I hadn’t eaten either, and Nakamori-san’s mom kindly offered to make breakfast for both of us.

Nakamori-san apologized for calling us out so suddenly.

I said it was fine — I wanted to see the magic beasts quickly anyway.

We sat down at the table and ate breakfast together with Kenta.

Later, we got in Kenta’s car and headed to the dungeon.

In the car, Nakamori-san asked, “Shiraishi-kun, do you always go to the dungeon alone?”

I answered, “Yeah.”

Ouch — that hit my loner status hard.

“I see. Then, will you form a party with me?”

Nakamori-san said.

“Oh, that sounds great. I’d feel safe with Takuya.”

Kenta said.

So I ended up teaming up with Nakamori-san and finally graduated from being alone.
