Golden Week (Part 3)

When I returned to the gate, the same staff member from earlier gave me a relieved look.

What a nice person... I called out to the staff member.

"I made it back safely!"

"Ah, welcome back. You're not hurt, are you?"

"Nope! I'm fine."

I handed my Explorer Card to the staff member.

After processing my exit, I passed through the gate.

Then, at the buyback counter just past the gate, I exchanged the slime magic stones for cash.

The total came to around 180,000 yen!!

That was about 300 slime magic stones!

Earning that much money in such a short time made me feel like my sense of money might start to warp.

They say once you raise your standard of living, it’s hard to lower it again—so I should be careful!

I made a vow to myself.

And then, I deposited the entire amount into my Explorer Card.

Since I was getting hungry, I decided to go have lunch.

I took the escalator up to the second-floor cafeteria.

It looked like the meal ticket vending machines accepted both cash and Explorer Cards.

I inserted some cash and pressed the button for the karaage set meal.

Since I live alone, I don’t usually cook fried foods myself, so I tend to crave them.

After finishing my karaage meal, I sipped on a cream soda for dessert and thought about what to do next.

"Now then, what should I do after this?"
