I registered as an explorer at the Explorer’s Association and officially became an F-rank explorer.

Snow and Shiratama also needed to be registered as magical beasts, so I did that too.

Apparently, magical beasts have to wear special collars, and I spent some time deciding what colors to choose.

In the end, Snow got a blue collar, and Shiratama’s was red.

Both of them looked so cute wearing their collars—it suited them perfectly.

Shiraishi-kun and I headed down to the dungeon’s first basement level.

We moved beyond the hill.

Though no one else could see us, spirits always surrounded Shiraishi-kun to protect him.

Still, I couldn’t bring the magical beasts to school.

It felt safer to be able to summon them if needed.

So, this summoning experiment was important.

Most of the money we got was deposited into our party fund.

Shiraishi-kun proposed to me!!

He said, “Let’s save it as money for our future together.”

I was shocked by the unexpected proposal, but at the same time, I was really happy.

That’s when I realized just how much I loved him.

My heart wouldn’t stop pounding.

I looked down to hide my bright red face.

My brother and I met up, and we all went home to have dinner.

After Shiraishi-kun left, I told my mom about everything.

I couldn’t bring myself to say that I’d been proposed to all of a sudden, so I just said we had started dating.

Mom was so happy!

She really liked Shiraishi-kun too.

“Your fated person will come to you eventually,” she had said.

She was right!

The next morning, my brother said, “If it’s Shiraishi, there’s no problem. I can trust him with you.”

Mom must have told him last night.

With my family’s blessing, I felt so incredibly happy!

I suggested to Shiraishi-kun that from now on, we call each other by our first names.

He asked me to keep calling him “Shiraishi” at school because it was embarrassing.

I agreed.

So, outside of school, we call each other by our first names.

Since we’re dating, that’s only natural, right?
