My family? We’re rich.

My grandpa struck gold back in the day. Bought up a bunch of land, built apartments and condos on it, and now we basically live off the rent.

Dad’s technically the one in charge now, but honestly, Grandpa still holds all the power.

If I want something, I just ask Grandpa.
And like magic, I get it.

Whatever it is, he buys it for me. No questions asked.

Back in my first year of junior high, there was this girl in my class—seriously pretty.
Her name was Nakamori.

Every time I looked at her, my chest would tighten like I couldn't breathe.

It was my first real crush.

I started asking around—discreetly, of course. I didn’t want anyone realizing I liked her.
So I asked people who went to the same elementary school as her. A little here, a little there.

That’s how I found out her dad had passed away. She lived with her mom and an older brother—two years above us.

And that brother? Apparently, he was no joke. Been doing karate since he was a kid.
Everyone said he was terrifying.

Anyone who tried to get close to Nakamori? Her brother would show up and shut it down.
Unless he approved, you didn’t get to date her. Period.

So nobody even dared to confess.

Curious—and okay, a little scared—I snuck a peek into the third-year classrooms one day.

And there he was.

Tall, broad shoulders, chest like a barrel. Not so much “athlete” as… gorilla.
Seriously, he looked like he could crush someone with a stare.

He wasn’t just scary. He was the final boss.
