Sōzoku Shita Sofu no Ie no Urayama ni Danjon ga Dekimashita - Chapter 2

Went Shopping.

This morning’s breakfast? Sweet bread...

There’s no food or seasonings in the house yet, so I didn’t really have a choice.
Seriously! (sweats)

Today’s schedule: grocery run.

I looked it up on my phone, and it seems like all the essentials—supermarkets, drugstores, home centers, and convenience stores—are clustered near the town center.

It’s about a 20-minute ride one way on the bicycle I brought from Tokyo.

Unlike a car, I can’t carry much on a bike.
I definitely don’t want to make multiple trips, so I made a checklist to avoid forgetting anything.

Time to go!

—Fast forward—

It ended up taking me three whole days to finish shopping.

I’m completely wiped out. (T_T)

…Right now, I’m tilling the field.

By hand.
Yes, manually. (T_T)

The house I inherited from Grandpa came with a garden plot.
To save on food costs, I figured I’d try growing some veggies.
Sounds smart, right?

But turns out, you need to prep the soil with lime and a bunch of other stuff before you even plant anything.

I checked online, so I know what I’m doing. Probably.

Only two weeks left until my high school entrance ceremony.
Since I’m not from the area, I literally know no one.

Will I be able to make any friends...?
