Looking left, he spotted something that looked like castle walls far off in the distance. The whole scene was tranquil, like a postcard from a foreign land.

“Where... am I?”

He—Tenma Itsuki—stood there, confused. It was far too vivid to be a dream. Yet he had no memory of ever being in a place like this. Curious, he pinched his cheek.

The pain confirmed it—this was real.

“Why is this happening...?”

He glanced around again. No summoning circle. No divine figure.

A soft chime echoed.

His eyes sparkled with excitement as he stared at the translucent window floating in the air.
