Coffee in one hand, keyboard in the other - that's how Zapnovel happens.

You ever fall so deep into a story that real life fades away? That's what Japanese light novels do to me. The good ones? They stick with you for years. Problem is, most never make it out of Japan.

That's where this little project comes in.

Here's how it works:

1. Find a story that deserves more readers

2. Run it through translation tools (because my Japanese is... a work in progress)

3. Then comes the real work - rewriting every awkward line, googling cultural references at 2AM, trying not to butcher the author's style

It's not perfect. Some days the translations fight me. Some cultural jokes just don't land in English. But when someone says they found a new favorite story here? Makes all the night owl editing sessions worth it.
